Nominating Petitions Due NOW.
Please bring your notarized petition sheets to the campaign office today.
Do NOT sign your petitions until you are in front of a notary public. If you are unable to have your petition sheets notarized, please bring them to the campaign office unsigned with your photo ID. Ask for Julie and she will notarize them for you.

Getting Signatures is as easy as A... B... C...
Ask only registered voters that live in the District to sign the petition. Please make sure that the signer uses their full name and address and that they sign the petition in your presence.

Do not let someone sign for his or her spouse, children, coworkers or friends. Remember - SIGNATURES only, no printing of Names.
When you are finished collecting signatures, please have the petition notarized by a notary public. If you need a notary,
please call Pat at 3126177284.
Please return petitions to us as they are completed. The last day to return petitions to our office is October 15, 2007.
Drop petitions by the office at 7061 S. Willow Springs Rd., Countryside or mail completed petitions to PO Box 2139, LaGrange, IL 60525.
- Only registered voters can sign a petition.
- Spouses/family members cannot sign for each other.
- Witness the signing of each signature.
- The best way to get valid signatures is by going door-to-door or from family and friends.
- Do not use abbreviations.
- Do not use ditto marks.
- Abbreviations such as "St.", "Ave.", or "N" are acceptable.
- By signing a petition, a voter is allowing a candidate's name to appear on the ballot, it does not mean they are committed to voting for the candidate.
- Leave the space indicating sheet number blank.
- ONLY REGISTERED VOTERS CAN SIGN THE PETITION!!!!!!!!!!!!
